Disecting The Real Estate Commission

When you sell your home, part of the money you make on the sale goes toward agent commissions. Not only do you pay your own agent, but you also provide a commission for the buyer's agent - usually 3% of your home's sale price for each agent.

With abellahomes, we still recommend you pay a 3% fee to the buyer's agent, but we only charge you 1% of your home's sale price to list your home (an even greater savings than Redfin). This means your total agent commission will be 4%, instead of 6%, which can represent thousands of dollars in savings. If your home doesn't sell or if you decide that we are not the right fit for you, you are always free to work with someone else.
